File archive stubbing error

    Hi Folks,

    I am archiving a lun on Netapp. The archive job gets the following error while stubbing. There is free space on the LUN. I' m not getting any errors in the different lun archives on the same aggregate.

    I have found the following errors, but I do not know what to do. Do you have any idea?

    Hi All,

    We have changed the registry key 2:11_SuspendStubbing from Y to N on proxy servers.

    After we tried the archive and its completed successfully.

    Where is this registry key set? On the client or where? I am having this same issue, but not sure where to set this.

     

    registry key 2:11_SuspendStubbing from Y to N

    Hi

    This has to as a string in registry under

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CommVault Systems\Galaxy\Instance001\WinFSDataMigrator

    But can we contact you to understand why we had to set it to suspend. Usually we do that when there is a disk space issue. Please do share your contact if its okay for us to connect with you.

    We have done the changes in the registery, but, after executing one job this registry value reset to Y again. is there any permenant solution for this?

    Hi Prashant,

     

    SuspendStubbing registry key gets set when there are issues like disk space, write permissions while creating stub files etc. Can you please check if there is enough space and user running processes have write access to folder where stubs are getting created. 

    If these conditions are good then please send GXHSMStub.log here to take a look further.
