  • Compliance Search page stuck on "Loading Search"

I'm new to Commvault and still figuring things out. I am troubleshooting a Search issue for a user however when I go to the Compliance Search url,  all it shows is Loading Search... and it stays there and never loads the page.

I know it is working because my users can get to it but it doesn't come up on the 2 different computers I've tried with my login. I am able to get to the Commcell Console fine with no problems.  Seems like a rights issue maybe?

After you have implemented Service Pack 3bin your enterprise, the following updates need to be applied:

    • 38001
      • Fixes:WebConsole page says "loading server" forever
      • Downloads: Win32 View Readme | WinX64 View Readme

Is 38001 included in a later SP update?  It seems to be a post-SP3B update but I'm wondering if I need to add it after applying SP7B.

    I'm having this issue..

Unable to Log onto Compliance Search and or End User Search (CI Web Search)

The Article 11454 (old Article ID 27272) referenced in this forum link has been retired since the update 38001 released with SP3b was incorporated into the next Service Pack.  SP4 and higher.

All Simpana Service Packs are cummulative from RTM so higher service packs will have the fix incorporated within it.

    Hello eegor,

Sometimes websites don't look like you expect them to–images
might not appear, menus might be out of place, and text could be jumbled
together. This might be caused by a compatibility problem between
Internet Explorer and the site you're on
    . Sometimes this can be
fixed by adding the site to your Compatibility View list.

You can also use firefox or chrome to see if the behavior you are experancing is browser specifc.

    CI0007: Compliance Search
Does Not Load in Internet Explorer

When Internet Explorer, the Compliance Search page does not

Enable compatibility view in Internet Explorer for the
    Compliance Search page.

    1. Open
Internet Explorer and navigate to the Compliance Search page.
    2. Click Tools > Compatibility
, and add the Compliance Search page.

If Single Sign On (SSO) is enabled for the domain where
Compliance Search is installed, add the Compliance Search page to the Local
    Intranet sites list.

    1. In
Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet
      Security > Local
       > Sites > Advanced.
    2. Enter
the Compliance Search URL, and then click Add.
    3. Click Close.

The Compliance Search page cannot be accessed from the machine
    where Compliance Search is installed.

Open the Compliance Search page from a remote computer.

    Thank you
