Delete content index.

    Hello people,


    I wanted to know how i can delete the complete content index.

    I have searched for it on books online but there i can not find how to remove the complete content index so i can refill it.


    Thanks in advanced for any answers.

    The steps below describe how to destroy the current content index data and status

    information so that a new content index can be built.


    1. Stop the FAST process on all nodes.

    2. Delete the data directories on all Search/Index nodes.

    a) data_index

    b) data_fixml

    3. Start the FAST process on all nodes.
