    Hi,

I've recently completed the upgrade from Commvault 8.0 to Commvault 9.0. We have some reports which are sent out to users but as they are quite large the option to send as a "compressed attachment" has been enabled. In v8.0 the attachment format was .ZIP but in v9.0 it seems to have been changed to .CAB format.

Is it possible to switch this back to a .ZIP format?

    Thanks

Jay, Is there a particular reason why you need ZIP format, as most decompression apps support cab file.

Just to close this thread off, we managed to find a workaround for this in the end. The reason we'd have preferred .ZIP files is that they are supported as standard on Unix/Linux machines unlike .CAB files.

Can I ask you to share the workaround?

Is it a setting, or did you really "work-around" this with scheduled scripts etc?

    If it jams, force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
