How about a Content Indexing section?

    Hello Bama99,

We actually debated the point of additional forums for quite a while. At first we were going to make it very granular - driving down to the idataagent level and breaking out discussion groups for each one much like you mentioned.

The problem we fear is that certain forums will be very under trafficked and quality posts would not be viewed by the majority of the community.

What we are working toward is the ability to "tag" a post with those specifics

Example Post: Hello All, Anyone have a problem with slow throughput when backing up exchange database to LTO3 tapes?

This example could live in many different sub forums - this is where tagging comes into play. We will tag this post with its specifics

Example Tags: LTO3 - Exchange Database - Slow Throughput

By leveraging "tags" we can allow our search to pinpoint those particular items without making the forum over categorized. If tagging works out the way we think it will - You may see even less Discussion groups.

    Let me know your thoughts

I don't think that a 'granular' sections are required by a CI section should be included. if you are looking to break up the backup and recovery section maybe it could be broken up similar to book online with a common technology section which would include commserve/MA etc than a agents section, and so on....

since you have a archive section only makes sense to have a CI/e-discovery section

From a volume perspective Virtual Server agent will become a sub-forum of Backup & Recovery. I will see about creating a sub-forum for CI at that time, however we aren't seeing much traffic on that topic.
