Myself and collegue are experiencing issues connecting to our commcell console via the weblink. We have been connecting in this way for long enough, and never had any issues.

The problem began, as i was connecting in, while the link was loading the java applet(as per normal), it downloaded an update.

So now when trying to connect, during the java applet loading it reports that Java wants to block potentially unsafe components. (Have attached full error - CommVault01). Selecting No, lets you continue. It goes through the login process, as the commcell console loads each window shows the error of "..."org.jdesktop.swingx.rolloverproducer" does not match trust level..." (Have attached full error - CommVault02).

Has anyone seen this error before? Any suggestions on how to resolve?

    thanks.

Please review this KB article and if the workaround and or solution works let me know.  If it does not work let us know what version of java is active on the commserve and what version of jave is active on the two machines having issues with Web GUI.

Reinstalled Java back to version 1.6.0 Update 17, CommVault GUI now works ok.

    Thanks for the info Trekrod1.
