Trigger Workflow from Alert or Backup Failure?

  • Trigger Workflow from Alert or Backup Failure?

    Maybe I'm not looking in the right places but I can't see a way to trigger a work flow during backup pre/post tasks or from an alert etc.

    Is this possible?

    So far it seems Workflows can only be manually run or run from a schedule.

    I haven't looked but it would also be good to be able to run them from a QCommand or Script so I could integrate with them externally.

    You may have found the answer to this already but I figured I would provide an answer to this post.

    You can Save the workflow as a script, then configure it to run as a Pre/Post command...documentation for this is here:
