Just a query to see how much data CDR is replicating in your organisations?

We have a number of small sites where it is working well, (200-300GB, not a large change in data on a daily basis)

Is anyone using this on larger sites (e.g. 4-5TB, large change in data on a daily basis)?

I'm surprised no one has responded to this.  Unfortunately, we fall under the small site catagory so i cant say 4-5TB replication.  I would say protecting that data via hardware snap + backup would be the most efficient way, unless you have a gig link between site A and B.

Thanks for replying Vincenzo, we are looking at a number of different options regarding a true DR hot site. It is looking like SAN level snaps are the way we will proceed

May I ask if you are going to use snapprotect for the HW snap management or an external tool?

I think we will be using a trird party tool, such as Dell Equalogic SAN snaps..

You could leverage SnapProtect to manage the equilogic SAN snaps, for both Snap and granular recovery
