controll job workflow

    I like to create a workflow to execute 1 job after another specified jobs (based on client/subclient perhaps defined) finishes, right now we see some subclient jobs overlapping which we like to prevent. If we can controll that a job starts after another job first finishes this would really help. We can't specify a job-id as the job-id gets created when the job starts, what would be the best approach to build this?

    I'm sure you've already explored this option, but you can stop conflicting jobs from running simultaneously through Control Panel -> System -> Job Management.

    Setting the first check box (Queue jobs if other conflicting jobs are active) should force your next job (on the same subclient) to go in to Queue instead of just starting.
