We use Simpana 10 R2 SP7. We have set up CDR between two W2K8 R2 servers. Destination is a directory on a UNC path (reached from the destination Windows CDR server) pointing to a NetApp volume. The replication set works correct. How can we automatically make NetApp snapshots / recovery points on the destination?

We try to follow: http://docs.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=features/recovery_points/recovery_points_cdr_how_to.htm. One way or another it doesn't seem to work. We have to choose a Windows server as destination but fill in NetApp credentials? Do we have to configure the filer as a NAS client before or something?

    Please anyone advise.

    Good Day,

Assuming based on the overview that when the data is replicated to the DR site this destination NetApp is just an array ( NOT using NDMP Protocol) you could use the Windows Intellisnap IDA to take snap shots of this data.
