    Hi,

I have created a custom command activiry where I ping a client from the commserve to check if the client can be resolved and if it is reachable.

When the client name cannot be resolved I get a pop-up message from the workflow engine informing me the host name could not be found and the workflow exits.

    For example:

    ping -n 1 -w 100 test
Ping request could not find host test. Please check the name and try again.

I want to be able to create my own descision object to handle the exitcode but this is not possible because the workflow allready exited.

Is there any way to resume the workflow after this error?

    Regards,
    Jeroen

I have found the resulution to this question by setting the following properties in the custom command activity after placing it in the workflow.

Continue after max restarts = true
    Maximum restarts = 0

I hope this will be usefull for others having the same query

    Regards,
    Jeroen
