    Hey Guys,

I'm trying to create a workflow to automate the decomissioning of a VM.  Part of that process is to create a new subclient that has only that VM in it and run a full backup.  I've figured out how to create a subclient, but no matter what I put in the contentPath input of the QCreateSubclient activity, it does not properly add the VM to the content on the subclient.  Does anyone know the proper syntax that it is looking for?

    Thanks,

    Joel

    Hi Joel,

You dont have to write a workflow for decommisioning a VM, you could consider using VM archiving.

You can write to me in private at rpawar@commvault.com and we can discuss further on how you could do this.

    Thanks

Ahh... trying to swat a fly with a hammer.  I do have some questions on the archive VM functionality, so I'll write you offline.

    Thanks,
