If I open the search engine web page:  http://comServName/search
and then in the "help" box (top right) enter something to search help on, all the links that come up are pointing to http://172.19.96.210:8080/something...  (which is unreachable)
That isn't an IP address or even a sub-net that is on our network.  Where is that link coming from?

    SReents:

We were told yesterday, by our SE, that there are no plans to discontinue this.  Seems like not everyone is on the same page regarding this.

    We're on 10.

hmmm in my lab the /search alias redirects to /webconsole in 10.0. I will see if i can find a setup where this still goes to the old search page

    Hi,

To enable \search please use the following

Add End User Search Page to "server.xml" on Web Server

    http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=products/domino_mailbox/end_user_recovery/configuration.htm

The same issue is happening in my personal lab, currently investigating the "help" link.

    Thank you

    Donato

I looks like this was an issue on our documentation server which should now be fixed.  Can you reload the page and try your search again to see if it is showing proper links ?

It works now, using Chrome.  It did not before.

It doesn't work using IE.  This is the error that it throws:

Can you please disable compabitility view for this site and try again after reloading the page ?

Hold down "Alt" to show the toolbar at the top.

Go to Tools -> Compatibility View Settings

Disable the checkbox for "Display Intranet sites in Compatibility View"
