    Hello there!

The problem is: I have created a disk library (F:\SimpanaArchive\) and storage policy aimed to the library. CS and MA is on one server, the disk library is attached to this server.

I have a windows server with a folder D:\toArchive\. Inside the folder there is verylarge.file 1 GB.

I have enabled the FS for archiving, without "user explorer recovery" option. (tried the operation even with this option set to "yes")

I have created a subclient with OnePass option, set the "Disk Cleanup" tab options to:

start cleanup at 90 pct free

stop cleanup at 95 pct free

    modified 0

    created 0

    size greater than 1024KB

    max file size 0

    After archiving replace with stub

After I run the job manually - synthetic full backup - the verylarge.file gets archived (copied to archive folder on MA), but it doesnt get stubbed in the D:\toArchive folder on the server.

Can you pls help? What am I doing wrong?

    Update:

I have disabled the delayed stubbing now, so the verylarge.file gets a stub icon, but remains at original size.

    Update 2:

Aaanyway - I have double checked the documentation and found out that i havent installed the file recall driver. Deploying that one now on the servers. Sorry for bothering you guys.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Don't forget to configure nMinDRBackupBeforeStubbing and nMinDaysBeforeStubbing strings for disaster recovery scenario.
