Hi we are using onepass to archive msgs in Exch mailboxes with Infinite retention set in subclient policies (prune set to: never)

We are now going to retire some mailbox subclients (remove then from schedule and disable backup)

We want to retain the stubs & data though so that email msgs previously archived can still be recalled by end users.

Once the Incr and Synthetic Full jobs are removed by data aging will the archive data be lost aswell? or is this still retained due to the subclient policy being set to Never?

I thought this infinite retention was basically maintained by the archive data being rolled into the synth fulls each time and without any new synth fulls it would be lost...but I may be wrong

    Can anyone pls clarify?

    Thanks

For that subclient's storage policy, What are your retention settings?

For OnePass, the archived data will roll forward (into the Synthetic Full) based on the subclient retention settings.
