    Hi,

We are planning to add CI to our email archiving.

We created a new Virtual Machine Windows 2008 R2, followed the Install procedure and tried to install the CI Engine. The installation cancelled itself. I double checked the installation documentation but found nothing.

    Any clue?

    Regards,

    Jose

At this time installations of a Content Indexing Engine in Simpana 9 has been depericated. http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/release_9_0_0/books_online_1/english_us/system_requirements/deprecated.htm

It is recommended that you upgrade to Simpana V10 which will provided the ablity to install the Content Indexing engine.

    Thank you,

    Don
