We have several virtual subclient groups of about 10 vm's per group.  Monday night's incremental backups are consistently very large.  It's the first backup after our Friday night synthetic fulls.  the incrementals throughout the rest of the week are much smaller.  Does anybody know why this is?

"An important point to remember is that a synthetic full backup consolidates data; it does not back up data from the client computer. Consequently, the data in a synthetic full backup always reflects the data of the previous backup, regardless of when the synthetic full backup was requested."
