    Hi Zam

Before deleting jobs, you should see why the jobs are not aging. You can run the below report which will tell you why jobs are not aging.

    http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=features/reports/types/data_aging_forecast.htm

You can delete indivudal jobs if needed. Please see the BOL below

    http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=features/data_aging/data_aging_advanced.htm#Pruning_a_Job

Please let me know if you have any questions.

We had the same issue and the solution is

1 .some of the backups were disabled as the server was decom .. the data of those sever were never deleted and it was still waiting for the data retension cycle to complete.  --> We need to run the job retention summary report and identify those jobs and delete them manually

    2. Media agents are not able to communicate each other inorder to run the data prune job effectively --> Make sure media agents are able to communicate each other.
