I have two Media Agents that I need to remove.  I brought two other new Media Agents up to replace them.  The two new ones have been working for a few months, so it's time to remove the old ones.  I'm trying to use the documentation at http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v10/article?p=features/disaster_recovery/t_decommission_ma.htm to do the decommissioning, but I'm running into an issue right away.  I select Libraries/<library> then right-click the mount path, choose Properties, then select the Sharing tab (which the instructions don't mention), then select the Media Agent.  The instructions seem to indicate that I should be able to delete the Media Agent, but the Delete button is greyed out.

    Any ideas?

    toddrf,

Can you please confirm, does this library in question has only one mount path or is it shared with other Media Agents?

In case, library has only one mount path the delete option will be greyed out.If library has multiple mount paths the delete option will be enabled.
If this library has one mount path and you don't need data on this library, you can delete the mount path by right click on library mount path and select delete Mount path and delete library.
Also make sure to delete any associated dedupe storage policies/GDSP to this library.

please reply back, if you still have any issues with De-commissioning the Media Agents.
