We are on version 10. We have restarted servers and the issue comes back. Removing Optimize for Lan Backups seems to work but I should not need to do this as a fix. Any suggestions?

The network buffer space typically stems from the client being a 32 bit machine running out of kernel memory. A reboot can correct the issue, though it may occur again as there is a kernel memory limitation on 32 bit machines that doesn't exist on 64 bit. This issue may occur on a 64 bit machine as well, it's generally not as common, but the reboot would again correct the resource issue.

Thank you. I understand that but my confusion is why now with SP13.

    Hi Shane,

is there any keys  like  npipelinebuffersize set under  client cvd or nnumpipelinebuffer set under client cvd reg key.

this  can cause this  issue  but dont make  changes please escalate with client  and  MA logs thru our  support.

we can dig deeper and  get to  the  bottom and  suggest the  solution.

SP13HF10 or SP14 should have resolved this.

    Aplynx:

SP13HF10 or SP14 should have resolved this.

No it didn't, as I had major problems with this (and a lot of other issues too) in SP14.
SP15 instead seems to resolve this problem. (for now)

Hotfix 10 for service pack 13 (included in 14) addressed an issue that occurred during the system state backup. The one caveat is once the update is installed the machine would typically need to be rebooted to correct the memory usage.

    Is the issue resolved now.
