I have some old NetApps that I need to get rid of. There are jobs that I guess didn't age off on these disks? The jobs have retain dates from mid-2015s so we don't need these jobs anymore. Storage Policy>Copy under Libraries shows all of the information I need to remove this data. I hope I'm right.

So tell me if this is the correct procedure to prune data....

    Under Storage Policies:

    Storage Policy Name>Disk Primary Copy
    Right Click>View>Jobs
    Uncheck Specify Time.
    Right Click Job>Delete Job

Or should I be doing this another way?

Typically the method you described is the best practice method for manually pruning jobs. It would be good however to undersatnd why they did not age off, you can run a Data Retention Forecast report to see if any indications on why the jobs are held. Also one common issue is that despite retention being met these jobs may have been flagged as "ToBeCopied" on a secondary copy in the policy and were not copied successfully.
