I've run into an interesting situation where I can make VSA SAN backups without Intellisnap or I am limited to using only NBD for backup copies when enabling intellisnap. (Same proxies). And I am trying to figure out if its a 3PAR, CommVault or an environmental issue.
I have verified the CIM server service is up and running. However, it is not reachable (but resolvable & can be pinged) from the proxy itself over the configured (default) port. The CommServe can reach it. Is it a requirement that the proxy needs to communicate with the CIM server directly when using SAN/Intellisnap?
