    Hi,

    I want to rename some SubClient Policies. After I renamed the policies it is not possible anymore to open the SubClient properties from the client.

    When I query the subclient properties from commandline, there is only this output:

    Operation.exe execute -af .\get_subclient_template.xml -appName 'File
     System' -clientname za1mavn01 -backupSetNaem defaultBackupSet -subclientname C:\Users

    <App_GetSubClientPropertiesRequest>

      <association>
        <entity>
          <_type_>SUBCLIENT_ENTITY</_type_>
          <type>GALAXY</type>
          <subclientId>1744</subclientId>
          <subclientName>C:\Users</subclientName>
          <backupsetId>1665</backupsetId>
          <instanceId>1</instanceId>
          <instanceName>DefaultInstanceName</instanceName>
          <applicationId>33</applicationId>
          <appName>File System</appName>
          <clientId>902</clientId>
          <clientName>za1mavn01</clientName>
          <srmReportSet>0</srmReportSet>
          <srmReportType>0</srmReportType>
          <consumeLicense>true</consumeLicense>
          <clientSidePackage>true</clientSidePackage>
        </entity>
      </association>

    </App_GetSubClientPropertiesRequest>

    I use Commvault V11 SP6.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Greetings, could you log an incident with Support if you haven't done so already.

    You should be able to alter it.

    Hi, thanks for the answers!

    I tried to reproduce these error, but now it seems to work. I really don't know why.

    But the problem with some clients persists, where I cannot open the subclient properties after I changed the name of the subclient policy. Is it possible to reset the subclient, that I can open the properties again? As I showed you the properties in my first message, there are only these settings:

    PS C:\CV_Scripts\CV_UserBackup_ClientAssociation> QOperation.exe execute -af C:\CV_Scripts\CV_UserBackup_ClientAssociati
    on\get_subclient_template.xml -appName 'File System' -clientName za1mrdb -backupSetName defaultBackupSet -subclientName
    'C:\Users'

          <subclientName>C:\Users</subclientName>
          <backupsetId>1682</backupsetId>
          <backupsetName>defaultBackupSet</backupsetName>
          <instanceId>1</instanceId>
          <instanceName>DefaultInstanceName</instanceName>
          <applicationId>33</applicationId>

        </entity>
      </association>
