Any way to adjust the threshhold at which this alert is triggered?

The alret criteria is set as an event code so there's no way to tell it to report at 25,000,000 instead of 20,000,000 documents.

Would changing the Severity to "Greater than Major" work? I don't know if there is a critical severity for the event code associated with this alert. I do know that it shows up as a "Major" event at the current threshhold. See below for current alert:

I realize it has been a while since this post. However, I just started to experience the exact same scenario and was wondering if you were ever able to find a resolution and a method to adjust the alert?

Content Indexing - Document Count Alert

    Operation / Event Viewer Events

This alert notifies the CommCell administrator when the number of content indexed documents has reached 20,00,000 on a search node with a limit of 30,000,000 indexed documents.

By default, this check is performed every 90 minutes. To change the frequency of this alert, edit the alert and under Threshold and Notification Criteria Selection, select Repeat Notification Every and select how often you want the alert to be sent.

Yes, the question is can we adjust the alert threshold? Instead of the 20,000,000 document alert, can we make that alert 25,000,000 OR some other number?

As it's predefined, the numbers are unable to be changed - you can only change the frequency of the alert.
