Hi All, I have two MSSQL servers. One (PROD1) is production server and second is development server (DEV1). I backup regularly PROD1. I have to restore last full backup of all databases from PROD1 to DEV1 every weekend. I am able get JobID of last full backup, but I have problem with restoring because the restore job restore all next transaction. Is there any way how to automaticaly restore only the last full backup? I trying to use "Execute" from "QCommands". A saved xml and then change JobID and toTimeValue. But this doesn't work. Thx

What CV version are you currently running on?  A feature was just introduced in Version 11 service pack 7 that does exactly this.  The advanced option is called 'full backup only'.  You could use this option along with the latest backup data and the drop connections to database option to scheduled a weekly full restore.

I have 11SP7. But I see in advanced restore options only "Skip Full Backup". Do you have URL for documentation of this new feature?

It does not appear to be in books online yet from what I see. It should be in Advanced on the Options tab

Yes, you are right. But this functionality is available only with standalone server. Not with AlwaysOn cluster. I'm sad and I don't understand why. Why, when I backup my alwayson cluster and then I want restore the database to dev (standalone) server, I can't use this feature.
