Due to network limitation. The full backup and synthetic full took a very long time to be transfered from Primary to DR. First full backup  has been transfered successfully, but this has been performed when DR storage was physically at Primary site. Now that DR storage is physically at DR site, this issue occured.

The question came out of our mind.  Can the auxcopied incremental to be use or merge with the existing auxcopied dash full backup to create a synthetic full in DR site?

or Can we promote DR copy to be primary copy and run synthetic full?

    Please advise.

Theoretically, it should work.  Backups only write to Primary, unless it's an Inline copy, so in your case, if you Promote then run a SynFull it may work.  Try it on a test policy first though so you don't impact production if possible.
