    Dear all,

one of our customer  had 2 questions about the Backup NetApp cDot Cluster.

The first one is a bit technical:

    • The Customer runs Cifs shares with the unix security mode on the NetApp Systems. The Customer would like to back up the Shares with the onepass feature enabled. The Comvmault Media Agents are running under Windows. Is there any problem with the security style hosted on the Filer ?

The second thing is the Licence. With the new netapp cdot cluster we had the option to run such a lot SVMs inside of the NetApp Cluster. The install documentation told us that we have to install one Client for each Storage Virtual Machine. So did we have to buy an licence for each storage virtiual machine when the customer did not use the capacity model ? Or is there an option to integration the netapp cluster with all the SVM running inside to the Commvault Enviroment ?
