Exception while LDAP lookup: The directory service is unavailable

    Hi Scott

     

    We switched off the old Exchange Domain controller this morning, Archive recovery is working if you use MS Outlook, but if you are using Outlook Web Access we are getting the following message:-

     

                    Operation could not complete successfully. (If you are not sure about the detailed information, please contact your administrator)

     

                    Error Details

                    Exception while LDAP lookup: The directory service is unavailable. Path: LDAP://s-fm-dc1.falkmail.org.uk, User Name: S-1-5-21-1220945662-           1547161642-1417001333-1116 ADServer: LDAP://rootDSE, Property: s-fm-dc1.falkmail.org.uk, Config Type: 1 Ldp Lookup Failed

    stale resource records in DNS?  Is that server listed the one that was retired?

    Yes, the server listed in the error message is the one that was retired.
