    Overview: worflow to automate the installation of the commvault client and the configuration of the subclient.

    Issue: using the wait for job completion element, it return the jobID in the successfull or failed variable. The decision should change the flow of the based on if the successfull variable is eq to the jobid. however the decision is always returning false, even when it should evaluate true.

    Decision workflow element:
    Expression: xpath:{/workflow/XPathQuery_1/result} == xpath:{/workflow/WaitForJobCompletion_1/successfullJobs}

    I confirmed using debug the value of the variables are identical: 875947 (job ID)

    Using debug, log output is: result of decision expression is [false]

    It should be true as the expresison should be true? no?

    xpath:{/workflow/XPathQuery_1/result} is an Object,

    xpath:{/workflow/WaitForJobCompletion_1/successfullJobs is a List<Integer>

    I would speculate the problem is they are not the same Type when doing the comparison.

    Hi Dylan,

    can you attach the logfile called "workflowengine.log" please.

    normally you just pass in the JOB ID from a previous activity  to the "waitForJobcompletion" activity. Have a look at the built-in workflow called "Demo_FileSystemBackupRestore"

    It was indeed a type mis-match. Thanks!
