Trigger an alert - create and incident from WF

  • Trigger an alert - create and incident from WF

    Hi,

     

    Is there anyway from WF to trigger an alert? The reason I ask is I want to create an incident to ServiceNow. There is a module in WF to do this but it will not be enabled for ServiceNow. However, I can configure an alert via SCOM to create an incident. So if I can configure an alert to send an incident then trigger that alert from the WF that should work.

     

    OR anyone else got a better idea? Would be please to here it.

    Even I am looking for this integration details.

    CommVault docs doesnt give much details on this process.

    You could configure an alert (Job Management / Workflow)  to be triggered when the WorkFlow started or Succeeded which could then use the SCOM option to create an incident.
