    Hi

in the past i have for primary snap one sheduler which have as content 4 subclients.

Now i want to make it seperate, that i can start it when i need it.

I create 4 scheduler and add them different subclients scheduler start all on the same time.

now i have some Problems with only one VM , I use vmware 6.0U3, vmware tools are updated.

at the time when backup starts i get in event viewer event id 4616 time is changed

    there are 6 entries.

    1 . change time from 0:2:00 to 0:12:00

    2. Change time from 0:2:05 to 0:2:03

    3 Change time from 0:12:00 to 0:2:00

it show if the vm is frozen for 10 minutes.

Problem is that in that time some important jobs are running on the machine. and they get blocked or failed.

we dont change anything else. i cannot find reason why this happend. So i found some article when veam takes snapshots the vm is frozen.

it this also by commvault? When 4 jobs starten all of them have 2 readers. that jobs are waiting?

    Hi Gregor,

Are you taking application consistent backups or crash consistent backups.

Also if there is very high I/O on teh vm during snapshot which might cause this issue. When vm has high read and writes and causing issue while taking a crash consistent backup also you can do a IDA backups for them.

I have faced similar issue when we are taking application consistent backups.

We changed all the backups to crash consistent in environment.
