    Hello,

    With a simple "create client" workflow my workflow execution failed with

    Error Code: [19:857]
    Description: Error on line 1: Content is not allowed in prolog.
    Source: commvault, Process: Workflow

    With the GUI I did a "Save As Script" for a New Unix File System Client and saved the XML on my Commvault server. No problems with the execution of qoperation.

    qoperation execute -af d:\scripts\addUnixClient.xml -clientName dev-dehamor56 -hostName dev-dehamor56.int.kn -clientType UNIX

    But when I start the the same from as a workflow the job is pending with the error message at the begin of my post.

    I didn´t edit the XML file.

    Thanks in advance for some hints

    Robert

    When I open it with Notepad++ line 1 is:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
    <App_CreatePseudoClientRequest>

    <clientInfo>
    <clientType>UNIX</clientType>
    <openVMSProperties>

    Hi Robert,

    which activity are you using for the command in the workflow. Can you attach the workflow?

    It was just the rookie failure. I added the path to the XML and NOT the XML content. SorrySmile
