Hello, this is not really a REST API question, but it has to do with coding and it should be very simple.

How can I read with the commandline the "Client Hostname" and "Client Name" from a client computer, when I run the commandline on the client computer? I mean not the computername, I mean the names which are displayed in the "Commvault Process Manager".

I believe this will do the trick, reads the registry asuming instance001 is used:

    reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\CommVault Systems\Galaxy\Instance001\Machines"

    Or this, not sure hmmz:

    reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\CommVault Systems\Galaxy\Instance001" /v sPhysicalNodeName

    Hi Jos,

    yes it works!

    It works also with powershell:

    $cvname = (get-itemproperty "HKLM:SOFTWARE\CommVault Systems\Galaxy\Instance001").sPhysicalNodeName

    Thank you!
