    For nutanix you only have:

    • Application Consistent: Performs a quiesced backup of the file system and applications.
    • Crash Consistent: Uses a Nutanix AHV virtual machine snapshot to perform a basic backup
When looking at supported applications with application aware backup nutanix is not mentioned as well:

    Application Support for Hypervisors

The following table shows the applications that are supported when performing application-aware backups for specific hypervisors using the VSA:

    A few questions:

    • Do you have the workflow engine installed on the commserve?
    • Did you enable intellisnap on the hypervisor pseudoclient?
    • Does the storage policy have a snap copy?
    • Did you install the latest hotfix pack? (18th of october version)

    Yes, Installed on commserve

    Jos1982_NL:

    • Did you enable intellisnap on the hypervisor pseudoclient?

    I enable to following

    Jos1982_NL:

    • Does the storage policy have a snap copy?

    Yes.

In same storage policy, VMware's app-aware backup is worked.

    Jos1982_NL:

    • Did you install the latest hotfix pack? (18th of october version)

Installed at today, then apply to SP13-hotfix1223.

    I enable to following

That is the array configuration, I am referring to the hypervisor client where you have configured the subclients for your VM's running on Nutanix.

I think "enable intellisnap on the hypervisor pseudoclient" as following setting.
But, still could not enable application aware backup

    open hypervisor's propeties
    click advanced button
    Enable IntelliSnap
    Click Manage Array
    nutanix-ce edit

I tolk to support engineer about this phenomenon.

support said , addtional "bEnableNutanixAHVAppAware"  parameter at commcell propery.

    then "Application Aware"option is displayed

But this feature still early release.
