I am testing 1-Touch Recovery process. Commvault v11 SP12 or SP13 (behaviour the same). It is a VMware Windows 10 machine restored without any HW change (so into the same VM). Everything seems ok, data + system are restored, but hostname of the restored machine is something like WIN-JL55AINDO47 for example, not original name. In addition, restore process also creates Computer Account for this name in an appropriate AD domain, and thus machine is joined into the domain with this name.

Any hints? There are several logons to the machine at the end of the restore process - I always logon with local admin account.

C:\OneTchUtl.log file from the restored machine attached.

Can you please perform a new restore but select the option of "Do not Use Windows Mini-Setup"

    Do not Use Windows Mini-Setup

Select this check box if you do not want to run the Windows Mini-Setup Wizard. If you are performing a cross hardware restore, the Mini-Setup wizard runs after the Full System Restore.

    Thank you
