With commvault new VM centric Operations feature (Indexing V2) it is possible to delete individual VM from the backup.

The aging would happen as per the normal data aging rules for deduplication.  Don't think there's anything special to it

VM will get deleted from index as well as MagLib.

This feature is coming in service pack 14 which is supposed to get released in next 2 weeks.

You can track the latest updates here once the SP is released. Also just want to put it out there, its not always a guarantee that features are released in the expected time frame, things could change as a general precaution so you don't have a false expectation.
