We have an Oracle RAC database that we have cloned to a proxy box to do some sort of export. We require more time to complete this work but the clone is set to expire in 2 days. We cannot renew this clone  through the web portal as this is Oracle RAC and not a standalone.

Is there a way to extend the life of the clone through the Java interface?

    Hi Tom,

I don't believe there currently is any way to do that with the java console, but let me check with some folks here to see if there may be some other work-around.  In the mean-time, you may want to open a support ticket so they can prepare an escalation to our developers.  This should prioritize the effort for a potential work-around.  (I'm thinking a sql/script to update the CS database that will extend the retention)

We were able to get support to login and run a database change. This allowed us to keep the clone running for the amount of the time the database team needed for their export.

    Thanks again for your response.
