Yes, but I would filter out the shared data from the backup. I suspect that shared data is probably the database data files. Use the RAC client in Commvault to protect the database.
If you lose a node, you can use the 1-touch recovery to bring that back. As the database is RAC, and if the shared storage remains intact, then the database will keep running. If you do encounter a problem with the database, you can always restore it with the backup from the RAC agent.
