    Hello Friends,

    I am facing an issue with single file restore from a VEagent backup.

    i am trying to restore a single file but while selecting the Guest files and foolders option I get below error 

     

    Browse failed due to error while mounting virtual machine: Unknown error, Error returned from FBR mount [Failed to run mount /dev/cvblk/cvblk225 /opt/FBR/cvblk_mounts/532049903/MountDir-1:err:mount: /dev/cvblk/cvblk225 is write-protected, mounting read-only
    mount: /dev/cvblk/cvblk225: can't read superblock

    out:

    While for other sublcients I can browse the Data without any issue.

    Hi Atul, make sure that path is available/browsable from the OS of the machine which is attempting to access the path mentioned.

    What kind of filesystem is used on the disks you are trying to mount?

    yes it is accessible, however while browisng from the GUI, it gives attached error.

    If i ssh this linux vm then i can browse everything.

    Is the single file restore of a same vm is cluster specific ?

    e.g. server was in cluster A before 3 days. --- I can browse and restore the backup from that cluster

    Server moved to cluster B - I cant browse the backup from this cluster. 

     

    Please note - both the clusters A and B are in same Vcenter.
