    Hi All,

    we have an customer who is aksing for some sap directory permissons:

     

    /sapmnt/SID/global | Should be: 700 | actually:  755
    /usr/sap/<SID> | Should be: 50 | actually: 755
    /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance ID> | Should be: 755| actually:  777
    /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance ID>/sec | Should be: 700 | actually: 755
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS | Should be: 755 | actually: 755
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/* | Should be: 755 | actually: 777
    /usr/sap/trans | Should be: 775 | actually: 775
    /usr/sap/trans/* | Should be: 770 | actually: 755
    /home/sidadm | Should be: 700 | actually: 775
    /home/sidadm/* | Should be:  700 | actually: 775

     

    So we are searching for imformations regarding the permissions. 

     

    Its SAP for Oracle and SAP Hana on SLES. 

     

    maybe yopu have some infos ?

    thanks for the link. The thing is what happens with the COmmvault backup when changeing some settings from here ? There is an mix of sap rights and system rights and rights which needs commvault to make sure that the backup is running fine.
