Hey everyone, quick question. We recently tried the product in our environment and backed up a bunch of NDMP data and we saw pretty good rates. When we did that we backed up one subclient at a time and eventually had everything backed up. We bought the product and just did our first full of all these sublicents on a fresh disk library. We are seeing it's using more disk space then in our test environment. We are using a single global DDB policy for this as well. The only difference here is, in our production environment we backed up the initial full of all the subclient all at once and in the test environment we did things one at a time. Could doing them all at once the first time have any impact on the Dedup rates across these subclients? Should I delete everything and back them up one at a time?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

If the subclients contain similar data across, doing the first backup of the subclients one after the other will give some more deduplication savings compared to doing all concurrent jobs.
