    Hello,

    Please suggest for below.

We required to have storage failover whenever Primary Storage goes down without any downtime Secondary copy work as  a primary copy and vice-versa.

For achieving above scenario what are the steps need to follow during Media Agent setup or Library configuration.

    Thanks,

    Kishan Pant

Hi Kishan, usually in CV its setup via Gridstore, where you tell the storage policy which tells the clients to use another data path/media agent in case the primary/default fails or is not accessible for any reason.   Does this help?

Typically you wouldn't have backups go to Primary and Secondary copy as the job has to complete to the secondary copy only after the job completes on the primary copy unless by secondary you mean you are just pointing the MA to another library in that case Gridstore is the way to go.
