Restore VM Data

    we use Simpana 11 and i backup VM's on a XenServer Cluster.
    If i try to restore some data from one VM i can't select that i want back the data to the original place....
    Is this correct that i must select by VM restores a temporary place?

    If you are looking to restore guest files/folders, that is correct -

    • You cannot restore files and folders directly to a virtual machine. Instead, restore to another destination and copy the data to the virtual machine.
