  • Existing reports squished to the left after SP14 upgrade
    Posted: 03-06-2019, 1:28 PM

    Hi,

After upgrading from SP12 to SP14, our reports are squished to the left (see attached pic).  Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Sheree

    Hello Sheree,

What device and browser are you viewing the report on?

Please let us know if you have installed the latest Hotfix pack for Sp14.

    Hi Venkat,

We've reproduced the problem in these browsers while reading the reports from several gmail inboxes:

    • Chrome 72.0.3626.109
    • Chrome 72.0.3626.121
    • Firefox ESR 6.0.5.1
    • Firefox 64.0.2
    • Internet Explorer 11.0.110
And Chrome 72.0.3626.109 when running the report directly from the Java Console.

We applied the latest Commvault hotfix as of Feb 26.  The 'Common Technology Engine' component is 11 Build 80 Update 1915, and the 'Reports' component is 11 Build 80 Udpate 2098.

This affects the top 'Summary' section of all reports. The sections below the 'Summary' section are fine.

The HTML differs between SP12 and SP14.  This is the new HTML:

    <li>Last 24 Hours<br></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></ul><br><table style="table-layout:fixed;width:100%" align="center" border="1" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0">
    <tr><td style="word-wrap:break-word" colspan="21" align="CENTER" valign="TOP" bgcolor="#000080"><font size="+1" color="#FFFFFF">Summary</font></td></tr><tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><td style="word-wrap:break-word" colspan="1" bgcolor="#CCCCCC" valign="top" align="CENTER" border="0"><font size="2">Client</font></td>
    <td style="word-wrap:break-word" colspan="1" bgcolor="#CCCCCC" valign="top" align="CENTER" border="0"><font size="2">Host Name</font></td>

    And the old HTML:
    <li>Last 24 Hours<br></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></li></ul><br><table align="center" border="1" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0">
    <tr><td colspan="21" align="CENTER" valign="TOP" bgcolor="#000080"><font size="+1" color="#FFFFFF">Summary</font></td></tr><tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><td colspan="1" bgcolor="#CCCCCC" valign="top" align="CENTER" border="0"><font size="2">Client</font></td>
    <td colspan="1" bgcolor="#CCCCCC" valign="top" align="CENTER" border="0"><font size="2">Host Name</font></td>
