    Hi,

     

    i have a Commserve v11 SP13+ and recived this alert aleatory days: 

     

    Alert: No recent DDB backup Type: Operation - Event Viewer Events

     

    And this is details:

    CommCell: server01

    Type: Operation - Event Viewer Events

    Detected Criteria: Event Viewer Events

    • Event ID: 62214
    • Monitoring Criteria: (Event Code equals to 32:416)
    • Severity: Major
    • Job ID: 0
    • Event Date: Wed Feb 6 16:02:19 2019
    • Program: MediaManager
    • Client: server01
    • Description: Deduplication databases for these Storage Policies/ Copies [DDB1/DDB1_Primary] are not backed up the in last [24] hours on this MediaAgent: [media01].
    I don't  found any info about this except this:

    No recent DDB backup

    Pre-defined

    This alert notifies the user when there are no recent deduplication backup jobs occurring in the CommCell.

    Is a real problem?

    I had the same error today for our ma's that service our on prem clooud. Checked schedules, but they werent in there. I just added them to the schedule.

    Hi Guys

    It is definitely an issue without DDB Backup.

    The purpose of the DDB backup is to provide the most up to date version of the DDB, in case the DDB becomes corrupted, the delta time between corruption and when the DDB Backup is taken will ensure minimized time in Reconstruction 

    Please do re-configure the DDB schedule

    Hi Winston,

     

    is a aleatory alert. No doesn't exist.

    Ok when we will received it again we will monitor when successful does it asap and the why this. (by events or logs)
