Users can not finish Laptop Activation

    Hi helpfull people,

     

    We are currently testing the Laptop client, and with Admin accounts the client install package is working fine.

     

    But with normal user rights the installation finishes but the client activation after install does not work, and gives the following error: "Backup infrastructure is currently unavailable. Please try later."

    Obviously, trying later does not help.

     

    I'm guessing our users do not have correct privilidges, and I tried fidling those in Commcell Console, but no help there.

     

    Not sure what more info is needed, but will be happy to give them when asked!

    What are the security permissions assigned to the normal user?

    As far as I understand, the security permission has been set to end user for all normal users. 

     

    These are handled with groups, not by giving individual users permissions.

    Is there an install.log in C:\ProgramData\Commvault Systems? 

    Should have an idea at the end of it what the problem is. Could be user, could be actual communicatoin problem.
