What I want to end up with is a cloud aux copy using 512K blocks while our primary copy uses 128K.

But I can't specify a Cloud library in the GDDP/GDSP or while creating a GDSP-enabled Aux Copy.

    How do I accomplish this?

    Hi Sheree

After creating the Global DDB (referencing the Cloud Library), you can edit the Block Size setting of the Global DDB through the Storage Policy -> Advanced Setting

It is strange that you can't associate a Cloud Library to the GDSP, can you share a screenshot of the Libraries and the GDSP creation (showing the inability to add the Library during creation)?

    Kind Regards

Mystery solved.  Apparently you have to have the Cloud library set up prior so you can attach it to the GDSP at time of creation; you can't just point it at a local library temporarily and then change it to the cloud library later.

    Hi Sheree

Thank you very much for the update

Yes, because once a DDB is associated to a Mount Path (part of a Disk/Cloud Library), the Deduped Data will be tied to the associated Mount Path.

So you will not be able to change Disk Library association for a GDDB, as the baseline data might be required for other Jobs.
