    Hi guys,

we want to migrate some servers from an openstack to a new VMWare environment.
Until a few hours ago I thought it was VMWare to VMWare, but now I've been informed that
    the source is Openstack.

Prerequisite: There is no access to Hypervisor in the Openstack environment.
Also, these servers are not yet in Commvault.

There is no migration path described in the documentation.
Now we think about the following plan:
Backup of the backup clients in Openstack with Fileagent (Windows and Linux) with Systemstate Backup.
Then restore the clients with the function "Virtualize me" .
    https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=- sync:ßÇÈâÈâ

    Is this possible?
    Thank you in advance.

For OpenStack instances running a supported distro/version of Linux, what you outlined should work. Install a FS agent, take a system state backup and then use our VirtualizeME feature.
