    Hello team,

Does anyone know if there is a way to prune/delete jobs from glacier vault?  We have some jobs that were put directly to glacier vault (non-dedupped) but with infinite retention.  I changed the retetion of the policy and jobs on the storage policy and the retain until date reflects they now should be aged, but they are not.  They show available even after running data aging.

I also noticed that AWS supports CLI delting for individule archives which I assume equates to the chunck file that commvault put's out there.  Is there an API that has been developed to use through Commvault yet?

    https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonglacier/latest/dev/deleting-an-archive.html

Thank in advanced for the help!

    John

I understand on Commvault side of the house, but AWS shows otherwise.

I am wondering if Commvault is developing against this or if anyone else has had any success with using an API of their own.

Also, looking for confirmation that if a job lands directly to glacier and was mistakenly put out there with infinite retention, that no matter what is done on the Commvault side of the house (including deleting the job manually through the Commcell GUI) that the job will indefinitely remain in glacier until you delete the glacier vault, right?

    Thanks,

    John
