    Hi Lukas,

Can you run Client readiness check including "Application check" and post us the details?

We should see something like this.

    Thanks,

    Sunil-

Hello at this time I don't have direct access to the enviroment but some time ago I checked the readiness and everything was fine.

Oracle is running on cluster, on two hosts. There are three databases located on these hosts. Two of them are working fine, the main one is have these issues.

Backups are working on every node, but on this, main, are working terribly slow.

Can you please raise a support ticket so that we can troubleshoot this further?

    Thanks,

    Sunil-

    Hello Lukas_S,

When that happen try to see or talk with DBA to check the connections on the database, in this case backup connections. Sometimes databases have locked connections. When that happen we usual see that kind of errors.

I had a few time ago that error and that was the issue. Try to check it out.

    Kind regards,

It's a little hard to tell with the log snippet provided.   Is this Oracle on Linux or Windows?  Recently there were changes with the way Oracle runs on windows where if there is a problem with the permissions it can cause the backups to run this slowly.  If it is, check the servcies to see how they are started and compare to the other 2 DBs that are running OK.

If this is on a Unix/Linux env, then you may want to check to see if there are any issues with the catalog DB (if you are using a catalog server).  If you are using the "catalog connect" try disabling it and see if the slowness persists.

One other place you can look is in the ORASBT.log on the oracle server.  This log will reside with your "Commvault" logs typically under /var/log/commvault/Log_Files and contains performance statistics for the backup jobs.  These statistics can provide information whether the slowness is in the MediaAgent (Commvault issue) or if the problem is in the Oracle instance (Oracle issue)

I would also recommend opening a support ticket on this as support can provide additional assistance as to where the problem may lie.

Hello the backups from GUI stopped to working at all, so we've opened the case. Currently it's on going. I will update this thread once problem is fixed.
